Atari Lynx Power Repair Kit

The Atari Lynx and Lynx II had a very poorly designed power circuit that relies on a zener diode and resistor to switch the common ground in to regulating at 5V.

The issue is this circuit burns up the transistors and zener diode often due to over-heating and poor quality circuit design.

Many of you know what we here at RetroSix do by now, including reverse engineering the retro consoles and re-designing their circuits to operate better, or offer upgrade kits.

This power repair kit replaces every single component in the power regulation circuit with correctly rated components, better regulates the voltage to 5.05V (to allow for voltage drop on modded consoles), and every component has a much higher amp rating.

Along with that, the zener diode configuration in this kit has been improved to lower the current through the transistors and zener diode by over 100%, to prevent any chance of future burn out.

Compatible with all variants of Lynx and Lynx II consoles from all regions.
