Game Gear Game Cartridge Shell

All you need to replace your old game case is a tri-wing screwdriver to remove the original screw from the game, and a phillips to re-install the new screw.

Remove the circuit board, place it in the new shell and screw it down.

Now would be the perfect time to clean the PCB and gold pins with IPA fluid and replace the coin cell battery if there is one (to keep your game saves working).

We recommend removing the original game label by warming up the sticker with a hair dryer and using a thin plastic card or similar to slide under the label and lift it off.

Then use a bit of paper glue to re-stick it to the new case.
