This is for local USA based repair. Simply add the device you want restored and repaired to you cart.

This service covers the initial diagnostics and investigation via Crossface Gaming in the US, who will work with us directly to assist in the repair as needed. Once the faults have been identified we will contact you to let you know the cost of repair if you would like to proceed. Some minor repair may be covered under initial diagnosis but we will not know until we have your console on hand.

Why won't my Game Gear game save? Some Sega Genesis cartridges that allow games to be saved contain a small internal battery to store your save states. Over time, this battery degrades and needs replacement.

When these games were developed, flash memory was very expensive, and so volatile memory powered by a small battery was often used instead. NES, SNES and N64 cartridges also used such batteries for storing saved games.
