One of the common failures on the Neo Geo AES is the video RAM wearing out over time causing bad or no video output.
This VRAM chip is a brand new chip and drop in replacement for the original 16kb (2 x 8-bit) SRAM.
If doing a swap we recommend using our DIP sockets so you can socket the motherboard for easy future repairs.
There are 2 video SRAM on the Neo Geo AES console, so it is often best to replace both video SRAM chips in pairs as if one has failed the other is likely on its way out.
