On the quest for perfect and pure video signals from retro consoles was born the Edge Buster.
A well-known and documented issue with various retro consoles, such as the SNES, are left-to-right smearing or ghosting as some call it.
This is caused by a poor circuit design inside the proprietary chips of the consoles.
The Edge Buster reverse injects and stabilizes the custom ICs to make their output waveform correct, removing droop and slow rise/fall times, to sharpen up, without any loss of detail or color, the video signals.
This can be seen on our TikTok, YouTube and Wiki pages documenting how it works and the improvements it makes.
Installation requires soldering to ground and VCC, then a single wire going to the desired poor quality video pins (up to 4 can be added, enough for RGB and Composite).
The level of correction can be manually toggled to suit your personal preference and specific console.
