As the Xbox original gets older, the power capacitors tend to fail and start shorting, and often in turn take out the Q2F1 power MOSFET that provides the high current 5V rail to the system.
This MOSFET is located on the motherboard next to the main power connector coming from the power supply.
If you system gets no power, we recommend swapping both the power capacitors, and this power transistor.
This transistor is brand new and over-rated to handle much higher current than the original transistor could, keeping system temperature lower and the lifespan of this MOSFET much longer.
Requires soldering and professional installation.
